About us

It all started with Riesenschnautsers...

We both had dogs in the family as a child, Ann bought the first dog at age 16, a German Shepherd and Mikael bought his first as a 20-year-old, a Giant Schnauzer after having been a dog handler in the military service.
Interest in the breed and exhibit came many years later.

1976 Ann-José bought their first of three, Giant Schnauzer from kennel Riesengården. With the third Riesen awoke interest in the exhibition, before that was the only dog club that mattered.
I bred three litters of Riesen, thereof the prefix.
Rieskant's Bonica's in Black and litter brothers Rieskant's Count on me and Rieskant's Clover Tramp was exhibited and won quite a lot. Pretty soon after I started to breed came cropping ban and I took no more litter.

Simultaneously with rieasen came Miniature Schnauzer s / s into my life, the first came from the kennel Impacts, her name was Int Nord Uch Impact Silver Bang Bang, Lina. She became my foundation bitch, she left several champions who in turn left many champions... She was an amazing little dog. In April 2011 became one s/s he's the champion and he is the 8th generation from Lina.

1987-88, I started as trim pupil at Cindy's trim in Gothenburg.
When Cindy moved, I got up on wobbly legs and I have driven Cindy's trim since. Everything I know about the trim and cut, I have learned from Cindy.

In 1990, Michael started as a student of mine and he is still here.
2000 my dwarves were getting old and interest for a terrier had been a tid. I contacted Yvonne Andersson, kennel Westward's. In autumn 2000, a small white Katie joined us at home, Ch Westward's Wee Wildcat. Now it's summer 2011 and Katie is not with us anymore but her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are here.
